The proposed Second Link to Penang via the southern part of Pulau Batu Kawan has
offered opportunities to address the planning of this area in an integrated
manner to enhance its growing potential. Due to its strategic location, emphasis
will be placed on ensuring the new township complements both Penang and Seberang
Perai through the creation of synergistic and sustainable development.
Various residential typologies and precincts are provided catering to a wide
range of housing requirement. These include a gated community, cluster housing,
low and mid-rise development as well as affordable housing for the public. Care
is taken to ensure that a conducive living ambience is created by integrating
