The new Temerloh Hospital, currently under construction,  is a 498-bed government hospital providing secondary and selected tertiary care. It caters to the population of the district of Temerloh as well as being the referral centre for the central region of Pahang. It is designed to be an efficient, world-class facility and equipped with high-tech equipment to reflect international best practice principles of modern healthcare. The hospital is expandable to house 700 beds.

This project will be completed in December 2004 at a cost of RM480 million.
